Our Mission Introduction

This July, our mission team of 14 will be headed to Africa on a mission trip. The goal of this trip is to teach the Gospel to the people of Bariadi, Tanzania through the eyeglass clinic that we will be running there. Not only will our time be spent testing citizen's eyes and distributing eyeglasses, but also speaking God's word to those who are present. We are very excited to soon be serving the Bariadi community. The following are photos from a previous eyeglass mission held in the same city we will be visiting.

Day 3- Church and Clinic Setup

After 2 and a half days of travel, we have finally slept and showered and started our stay here with a 10 o’clock church service. The community’s enthusiasm for the gospel was overwhelming and the songs and voices of the people were absolutely beautiful. After today’s service, we have come to realize that we have many things to learn from these amazing people. Next, in preparation for the clinic tomorrow, we took our materials back to the church and set up the eye testing stations. In the process, we made a few new friends and got the opportunity to distribute and teach about our witness bracelets, as well as have some fun with bubbles. The smiles and laughs that were shared among us all today, are all just reminders of God’s love working through us. Photos coming soon... :)

Off and Running!

And so it begins! After meeting at the airport this afternoon we boarded our plane to Chicago at 6 PM. One flight down, three more to go! The exitement is only building...
